Cape's Anna Frederick signs with Temple University for lacrosse

Cape Henlopen lacrosse and field hockey senior athlete Anna Frederick signed an NCAA national letter of intent Nov. 19 to play lacrosse for the Temple University Owls, coached by Bonnie Rosen. Temple will play in the Big East Conference for all sports beginning in 2013.

Frederick holds numerous offensive school records at Cape, including most goals in a season at 81, most points at 124 and most career goals at 141. She is a two-time first-team all-state selection in lacrosse and has been a member of five state championship teams at Cape, including three in lacrosse and two in field hockey.

She plans to pursue a major in speech therapy.
