Baconnaise Broccoli Salad

INGREDIENTS:
1/4 cup bacon bits
1 head fresh broccoli florets
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
1/2 cup raisins
1/2 cup hulled sunflower seeds
1 red onion, chopped
1 cup Baconnaise
1/4 cup white sugar
DIRECTIONS:
Place bacon in a large, deep skillet. Cook over medium high heat until evenly brown. Drain, crumble and set aside.
In a large bowl, mix together the bacon, broccoli, cheese, raisins, onion and sunflower seeds.
In a small bowl, whisk together the Baconnaise and sugar. Pour over broccoli mixture and toss well to coat. Cover and refrigerate until chilled.
