Heidi Lowe Gallery offers drusy, gemstone jewelry Dec. 7-9

Lowe will make unique jewelry pieces in time for Christmas
November 27, 2012

Heidi Lowe Gallery is hosting a drusy and gemstone party Friday to Sunday, Dec. 7-9. Customers can come into the gallery and pick drusies (a type of quartz) or gemstones that they want jewelry made out of for holiday gifts. Gallery owner Lowe will make the jewelry pieces in time for Christmas. The gallery will have the drusies and stones to choose from for necklaces, rings, earrings and other jewelry available from 10 a.m.-6 p.m., Friday, Dec. 7; 10 a.m.-9 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 8; and 10 a.m.-6 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 9.

“Jewelry is one of the best presents you can give your friends or family,” Lowe said. “You don’t need to worry as much about sizes, and because I offer to make the jewelry with a unique drusy or gemstone you pick out, you’ll know that the person won’t already have it. I hope that offering the chance to come in and view the types of jewelry I make and offering the chance to pick out stones you like will take the stress and time out of holiday shopping.”

For those who would prefer premade items, the gallery is displaying the annual Multiples exhibition, featuring dozens of jewelry artists. Lowe also has her own line of jewelry on premises.

Lowe is also excited to announce Make Your Own Wedding Ring workshops, which are available year-round and provide couples with the opportunity to participate in the process of creating one-of-a-kind wedding rings. Lowe will work with couples to make their special wedding pieces, from rings to gifts for groomsmen or bridesmaids, and everything in between. For questions about scheduling or to reserve a class, contact the gallery at 302-227-9203.

Heidi Lowe Gallery is open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 328 Rehoboth Ave. in Rehoboth Beach. For more information visit www.heidilowejewelry.com.
