Action Needed:

Thursday November 29th at 7:00pm at Legislative Hall In Dover Delaware. Animal Welfare Taskforce will hold a public meeting. It is important for residents in Delaware to speak on behalf of our animal friends. At issue:
No resources for our cats.
Laws relating to animals which need to be updated.
No unfunded mandates requiring non profits to perform.
We need new laws to limit the...

amount of days an animal sits in a crate in shelters.
We need a new law to require animals in shelter to be spayed or neutered as soon as possible to prevent breeding of dogs or cats in a shelter environment.
We need the State to manage animal control services.
We need open doors for unwanted animals so they are not tossed on the streets.
We need statewide license programs for dogs and cats to help find lost owners and help fund safety net programs.
We need Attorney Generals who understand how important prosecution of animal abusers is to our community.
We need end of life services for pet owners.

Make your voice heard tonight to help our State make a difference for our animal companions and the people who love and care for them.
