Food 4 Friends selling sea glass jewelry, hand painted silk scarves at Unique Boutiques of Lewes

The charity known as Food 4 Friends Inc. is now selling handmade jewelry pieces from Atlantic sea glass and coral at the Unique Boutiques location in Lewes. In addition, they are selling silk scarves which have been hand painted by local artisans.

The items are all custom designed and no two pieces are alike Scarves range from $20-$45. Jewelry pieces are all under $50.

One hundred percent of  purchase goes to buy food for the food bank Food 4 Friends Inc., which runs at the Stockley Center in Georgetown.

Unique Boutiques will be hosting a holiday open house from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 8,  with discounts, specials, hourly door prizes, Santa for little ones, and free gift wrapping. There will be over 30 local artisans with their items for sale.

Food 4 Friends Inc. is a not-for-profit charity which provides a food bank, clothing bank and book exchange for people living in southern Delaware with cancer, HIV and AIDS. This organization provides them with nutritional food, toiletries, household supplies, and other items such as fresh produce, and canned items.

The food bank is located inside the Christiana Care Health & Wellness Center at the Stockley Center in Georgetown. It caters to people of all walks of life, no matter financial ability, from southern Delaware, including Rehoboth Beach. They serve several hundred local households.

Unique Boutiques is located on Coastal Highway/Route 1, just north of Five Points in Lewes, on the southbound side of highway.
