Ordway Group merges with Faw Casson

December 10, 2012

Faw Casson has announced the merger of the Ordway Group, led by Tammy Ordway, CPA, with Faw Casson. Effective Dec. 1, the two firms consolidated into Faw Casson’s Dover location.

The objective in this important decision was to better serve the clientele of both firms by increasing their depth in the market of entrepreneurial services. The intention is to develop this as a niche to assist businesses that need to supplement their internal resources in order to maximize business, operational, and tax opportunities.

“What I find exciting about this merger, is the way the firms harmonize with each other. With Tammy Ordway and her staff joining forces with Faw Casson, we will be a complete resource to assist emerging businesses in achieving their goals,” said Jennings Hastings, director of operations at Faw Casson.

Faw Casson and Ordway Group have found a great complement between their firms, staff, and clients in that both firms offer a high level of personalized service and professionalism. Together they will have access to a larger pool of technical skills in bookkeeping, tax and accounting services, as well as business management, financial and consulting services.

Ordway said, “I hear all the time that there is no one place businesses feel they can go regarding business start up and improved operation. Faw Casson's Entrepreneurial Services will not only guide the client through the launch process and set them up for a solid beginning, but also help existing businesses that recognize a desire for growth.”

Faw Casson is a full-service CPA firm with locations in Dover and Ocean City, Md.
