Statewide Walk for Autism to take place April 20 in Lewes

Autism Delaware calls for business and corporate sponsorship
December 11, 2012

Autism Delaware announced today the date for the 2013 Walk for Autism, Saturday, April 20, at Cape Henlopen State Park in Lewes, and called on Delaware business and corporate leaders to support the statewide fundraiser as sponsors.

“Sponsors are desperately needed to help support the event,” notes Autism Delaware Walk Director Kim Siegel. “Sponsors ensure that more of the funds raised by walk participants actually go to Autism Delaware programs and services. This year’s goal is to raise $200,000 to support the growing number of people and families affected by autism throughout the state.

“To say thanks,” adds Siegel, “Autism Delaware offers a range of sponsorship levels with benefits such as statewide recognition and day-of exhibition space at one or both event sites. In-kind donations of food and beverages may also qualify as sponsorships.”
