Maple Dale sets new date, Jan. 6, for second annual bridal event

Vendor opportunities still available
December 10, 2012

Maple Dale Country Club in Dover has set a new date, Sunday, Jan. 6,  for its second annual bridal event. This will be Delaware’s only indoor-outdoor bridal event, and Maple Dale General Manager Chris Aulita is announcing to all businesses with an interest in targeting Delaware brides that it’s not too late to be a vendor.

“Despite the postponement of our bridal event due to Hurricane Sandy, we have an excellent variety of vendors participating in our Jan. 6 event. Plus, we anticipate that we will again have a large turnout of local brides.”

This event is unique because it will feature some of the outdoor details important to so many weddings, plus it is being produced by local, full-time bridal industry service professionals. The event organizers include Alex Vaughan Mobile Entertainment, Amoré Bridal, Circle That Date, Classic Cakes II, CM Baker Photography, Cook & Smith Florist, CruiseOne, Dover Rent-All Tents & Events, Maple Dale Country Club and the Perfect Wedding Guide.

The day will include a runway fashion show, vendor displays, refreshments, giveaways and door prizes. The outdoor set up will also allow the brides to see the variety of tents, seating and flooring options for their outdoor wedding.

The first 50 brides that sign up online will be admitted free. Admission to the bridal event is $10 per person, and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition.

The DBCC will be on hand to give out information and answer questions about breast health and breast cancer. Lois Wilkinson, DBCC program manager, education and survivorship, says, “The Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition is very pleased to partner with Maple Dale Country Club, the Delaware State News and the other event sponsors in the Maple Dale Bridal Show. This is a wonderful opportunity for DBCC to educate women of all ages about breast health and breast cancer and to be part of this exciting community event.”
