Wild Quail Ladies Golf Association raises $1,400 to benefit Delaware Hospice

December 20, 2012

Each year, the Wild Quail Ladies Golf Association’s 18 Hole Group selects a charity to support. This year, Delaware Hospice was chosen in memory of Joan Shuba, who was a member of Wild Quail.

The golf association contributes $1 for every birdie and chip recorded by members, and additional funds are generously donated by family and friends who sponsored the golfers.

Funds donated to Delaware Hospice will help ensure that patients and families will benefit from the organization’s programs and services and high-quality end-of-life care.

Shown at the presentation of the $1,400 check are (l-r) Sue Cox, golf pro Ricky McCall, Delaware Hospice’s Jim Mims, Mary Barefoot, Treasurer Kathy Gazze and Vicki Buckworth.
