Delaware's Vietnam Veterans give to veterans home in Milford

Members of Delaware Vietnam Veterans of America recently donated $1,682 to the Delaware Veterans Home in Milford.  Shown at the check presentation are (l-r) veterans home Volunteer Services Coordinator Nadine Holleger, Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 850 member Denny Mehrenberg, Delaware Council Vietnam Veterans of America President Paul Davis, and veterans home Activities Coordinator Nancy Galvin.

Holleger, a representative of Delaware Volunteers for Veterans, runs the commissary/exchange in the home. The goal is to provide necessities and snack foods at minimal cost to residents. The donation, raised through the third annual Car and Bike Show at the facility last fall, will support the work of the commissary and its volunteers, according to Mehrenberg, event coordinator.
