Disney’s New Fantasyland preview at Ellen Rice Gallery Dec. 29

December 27, 2012

Disney-certified Glass Slipper Concierge travel planner Duane Whitman will present a colorful preview of Walt Disney World’s just-opened New Fantasyland expansion Saturday, Dec. 29, at the Ellen Rice Gallery in Ocean View.

From 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Whitman will give hourly presentations (and Disney door prizes) about the new worlds of Fantasyland - from Ariel’s Grotto and Undersea Adventures to Beast’s Castle and Dumbo’s Storybook Circus - and give free, one-on-one travel planning advice for those planning vacations to Walt Disney World, Adventures by Disney and the Disney Cruise Line. Disney-themed refreshments will be served all day, with wine and cheese served after 5 p.m.

Whitman has been an avid Disney fan all his life, visited Walt Disney World more than 30 times, sailed on the Disney Cruise Line numerous times and has been planning custom itineraries for families visiting Walt Disney World since 1972.

He joined Glass Slipper Concierge, a Disney-specialized, authorized, travel concierge service that offers meticulously planned Disney vacations, last summer. To become a GSC travel specialist, agents must have “unrivaled knowledge of Disney Destinations that can only be matched by their passion for delivering white-glove service,” according to GSC founder and best-selling “Luxury Guide to Walt Disney World” author Cara Goldsbury.

Whitman specializes in selecting and reserving the best resorts, park tickets and dining plans to meet specific needs and desires, and beyond those basics offers free, customized concierge itinerary planning, complete with free one-on-one, on-call help during vacations if desired. He also offers fee-based, personal guided tours of Walt Disney World.

“The difference between a good vacation and an exceptional one lies in the details,” says Whitman.

The Ellen Rice Gallery is at 103 Atlantic Ave., Ocean View, in the west end of the old Country Wicker Building, 2.2 miles west of the Bethany Beach totem pole on Route 26. For more information, call Whitman at 302-448-1534 or the gallery at 302-539-5963.
