Christmas is about opening our hearts

December 28, 2012

The Christmas season is upon us once again, providing an opportunity to assess our accomplishments, challenges, work yet to be done, and promises for the future.

During this time for reflection of the past several months, I wish to express my gratitude to each person for his/her efforts to ensure that West Rehoboth children, youth and their families are provided life's most cherished treasures - quality education, affordable housing, food, clothing, hope, cultural enrichment activities, etc. Regardless of the role being filled by each person, our community is richer because of you.

Please take the time to savor the pleasures of the season and express your gratitude to family members, loved ones and friends for their support, which enables you to accomplish the formidable task of helping those in need.

May you and your family and friends have a safe and joyful New Year!  I am looking forward for your continued support and new friends and partners in 2013.

Diaz J. Bonville
president, Coalition for West Rehoboth
