Brandon Perdue joins Community Bank Delaware

December 31, 2012

Community Bank Delaware welcomes Brandon Perdue to its team as credit analyst.

Perdue joined the bank in early November after 16 years with County Bank in a variety of positions, most recently as a customer service representative in the Laurel office.

Perdue is a Sussex County native born into a banking family. His father, J. Frank Perdue, was a lender for more than 25 years before his retirement in 2010. Following in his father’s footsteps, Brandon brings extensive experience in lending, credit analysis and branch banking to Community Bank in his new role as the bank’s credit analyst. Brandon received his bachelor's degree in finance from Wilmington University and holds an associate degree in business management from Delaware Tech.

Community Bank Chief Lending Officer Jack Riddle says, “In a community bank, everyone wears more than one hat, so we need people who bring an array of skills and a can-do attitude to work with them every day. Brandon is that kind of guy. We’re really fortunate to have him on our team”.

Teamwork is nothing new to Perdue, who spent his early years in Pop Warner and Little League in Georgetown. For many years, he owned and drove stock cars, which was a family affair with dad Frank and brother Wade. The family no longer races, but all are still avid race fans.

Community Bank Delaware CEO Lynda Messick said, “I’ve known Brandon since he was a little boy, and I have watched him grow and advance in his career with pride. He’s a true community banker who knows and understands what makes our area unique and why its banking needs are best met by a community bank.”

Community Bank Delaware is a full-service community bank headquartered on Kings Highway and Route 1 in Lewes with an office in Rehoboth on the service road. For more information, call 302-226-3333 or go to www.communitybankdelaware.com.
