Delaware Red Hat Society calendar full in 2013

December 30, 2012

The Red Hat Society in Delaware has a full schedule for the coming year, exploding with events, parties and adventures, according to RHS Delaware Ambassador BJ Young.

Young invites any woman who would like to be a member of the Red Hat Society to any of these events.  There are chapters open for new members in many area towns, and the ladies may belong to as many as they like.

In Oak Orchard Thursday, Feb. 14, members are celebrating the Chinese New Year with a buffet luncheon.

RHS members will go to Lewes Monday, March 11, and receive a proclamation from Mayor Jim Ford; traditionally the ladies go to Irish Eyes directly afterward. All chapter members, husbands, friends and guests are encouraged to attend.

In Georgetown Thursday, April 25, the group will celebrate the 15th birthday of the Red Hat Society with a high tea. Every chapter of the RHS and their members and chapter guests are welcome to attend. Contact bjy324@verizon.net for more information.

The Red Hat Society is a global society of women that supports and encourages women in their pursuit of fun, friendship, freedom, fulfillment and fitness.  The Red Hat Society connects, empowers and transforms the lives of women approaching 50 and beyond through the power of fun and friendship.

Women of any age are encouraged to join (those under 50 don pink hats until they "REDuate"), emphasizing the value of cross-generational friendships and mentoring. For more information go to www.redhatsociety.com.
