Lewes resident is in the pink with birthday flocking

January 20, 2013

Lewes residents (l-r) Joan Sharpe, Betty Moessner and Kathy Amussen survey a large flock of pink flamingos whose flight path took them north to the Cape Region in early January.

The "flocking" of Moessner's property by local Girl Scouts was a birthday gift from Sharpe and her husband Pat, and Amussen and her husband Bob.

Girl Scout troops 1482 and 1485 have been flocking family and friends since summer 2012 as fundraising events for their planned European adventure in 2016.
