Ocean Atlantic Realty to host free class for first-time homebuyers Jan. 30

Ocean Atlantic Sotheby’s International Realty is kicking off 2013 with a series of free informational classes offered to the public. The first in the series, The Insider’s Guide to Buying Your First Home, will be held at the downtown Rehoboth office at 5:30 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 30.

The class is open to the public and will feature a panel of knowledgeable speakers, including Eric Parsons of Tidewater Mortgage, who will be providing attendees with free personalized credit reports.

“We are excited about hosting these classes for the community,” said Kathleen Schell, marketing director. “We plan for them to be very informal, with information sharing, open discussion, and question and answer sessions. Our goal is for people to leave the classes with some inside knowledge and answers to their real estate questions.”

The class will be approximately 60 minutes long, and wine, appetizers and childcare will be offered during the session for attendees.
