Historical society to host Lewes Lunch and Learns

Community members can enjoy Lewes Lunch & Learns every other Friday through May 10, with dialog led by local history buffs ranging in topic from Lewes as a fishing port to the bombardment of Lewes in the War of 1812.

The Lewes Historical Society will host featured presentations, free of charge, at Midway School House No. 178 on the Lewes Historic Complex, 110 Shipcarpenter St. in Lewes.  The talks will begin at noon and run for 20-30 minutes, followed by a question-answer period.  Audience members are encouraged to bring a brown-bag lunch. The society will provide soft drinks.
