Mann and Sons announces Rental Agent of the Year

February 6, 2013

Mann & Sons recently named Joe Cascio as its 2012 Rental Agent of the Year. Joseph Cascio was born and raised in Catonsville, Md., a suburb of Baltimore. He is a graduate of Catonsville Community College with an associate of arts degree and a graduate of the University of Maryland at College Park with a bachelor of science degree.

After college, Cascio lived in the Washington metropolitan area where he held an executive position with a major food store chain, Supervalu, for more than 20 years. During those years, Cascio was the recipient of many awards, both professional and charitable.

Cascio became interested in real estate and obtained his real estate license in Washington, D.C. In the 1980s, Cascio enjoyed vacationing at Rehoboth Beach, renting summer beach houses with friends. When he retired from Supervalu in 2005, he moved permanently to Rehoboth Beach and began working at Mann & Sons. Shortly thereafter, he became licensed in Delaware and began working primarily in the rental department.

Since his employment at Mann & Sons, Cascio has helped increase volume and standards in the rental department. He is very dedicated and goes above and beyond to make sure the clients have everything they need. Cascio has also served on the rental affairs committee since 2005.

Cascio attends All Saints’ Church in Rehoboth Beach, where he is a Eucharistic Minister. He volunteers monthly at the All Saints’ Thrift Shop and for the Beebe Medical Foundation.
