Atlantic Sands Hotel & Conference Center begins renovations

The Atlantic Sands Hotel & Conference Center at 101 N. Boardwalk in Rehoboth Beach has begun renovations on its west wing of overnight accommodations. This is the wing that extends down Baltimore Avenue and includes several suites with separate living areas.

Renovations are expected to include new flooring, wall coverings, beds, linens, furniture, drapes, lighting, artwork and overall décor. An artist's rendering of one of the renovated rooms is shown.

Renovations are expected to be completed during spring 2013. All remaining rooms of the hotel are open and being actively booked, along with meetings, weddings, civil unions and other events throughout 2013 and into 2014 and beyond.
