The Next Generation Southern Delaware held its inaugural charity fundraiser at Bethany Blues Lewes Feb. 8. TNG is a group of civic-minded young professionals working to provide grants for charitable causes. This year, TNG Southern Delaware is focusing its grants on child mental health. TNG is raising funds under the umbrella of the Delaware Community Foundation.
The DCF manages charitable funds for individuals, families, businesses and organizations, and distributes income from the funds as grants to humanitarian, educational, health and cultural entities throughout the First State.
Shown at the event are TNG Southern Delaware officers (l-r) Sarah Wooten, parliamentarian; Kim Wilson, president; Bekky Cooper, grants chair; Jason Adams, vice president; Christy Wright, secretary; Molly King, membership chair; and Tom Bain, development committee chair.
