Worcester's Middle School Math Team captures third place in region

Worcester Prep’s Middle School Mathematics Team captured third place in the Math Counts regional competition held in Annapolis, Md., among schools from the Eastern Shore, Annapolis and Severna Park, Md. The team features young mathematicians (l-r) Zachary Wilson, Berlin, Md.; Keegan Pando, Lewes; Josh Bredbenner, Seaford; and Anchita Batra, Lewes. Keegan Pando came in fourth in the oral mathematics competition. The team’s adviser is mathematics teacher Kathryn Fahey, Salisbury, Md.
