No more Mayor Newlands in Milton

February 15, 2013

Enough is enough!  Milton deserves much more than has been provided by the current mayor. He was elected by the people of Milton to serve all the people of Milton, and look out for the well-being of all of our communities. During his “reign” he has neglected/refused to enforce the town code, micromanaged the town manager and ignored the concerns of many Milton residents. He claims to “strive for public safety.” Not in my neighborhood, however. He claims “to have strengthened ordinances;” not in my neighborhood!  However he does selectively send out the code enforcer, when we have one, to ensure that I am following the town code. His hostile attitude and response to valid concerns are unacceptable, so let’s send him back to full-time retirement so he can enjoy life to the fullest!
