Campbell-White, Miller-Scheder join Ocean Atlantic Sotheby's

February 23, 2013

Ocean Atlantic Sotheby’s International Realty is proud to announce the recent addition of top area Realtors Pat Campbell-White and Carla Miller-Scheder to their team of real estate professionals.

“We are absolutely thrilled to have Pat and Carla on board with us at Ocean Atlantic Sotheby’s,” said Justin Healy, broker at OASIR.  “As anyone will attest, Pat is truly a legend in the coastal Delaware real estate industry, and Carla has added a myriad of technological skills and resources to their team.  We are honored to now have them as part of the OASIR team.”

First entering the real estate profession in 1974, Campbell-White has served in numerous leadership positions in the National Association of Realtors, the Delaware Association of Realtors, and Sussex County Association of Realtors.  She has traveled nationwide teaching subjects such as professional standards, new member orientation, leadership training, fair housing and cultural diversity for Realtors.

From ’91 to ’96, she served as legislative liaison and public policy/legislative chair for the National Association of Realtors.  In addition, Campbell-White provided testimony to numerous Congressional committees in both the House and the Senate on issues such as coastal barriers, wetlands, and flood insurance.

Her greatest avocation has been over 20 years dedicated to the preservation and restoration of Delaware's Inland Bays, the watershed encompassing Rehoboth Bay, Indian River Bay, Little Assawoman Bay and the Assawoman Canal. Initially appointed in 1983 by Gov. Pete DuPont, Campbell-White's commitment to the environment of Eastern Sussex County is an on-going effort, currently serving as vice chairman of the Center for the Inland Bays. For efforts with the Inland Bays program, she has received recognition from the Take Pride in American National Awards Program.

“I’m excited to start the next chapter in my real estate career with Ocean Atlantic Sotheby’s,” said Campbell-White.  “I believe my knowledge of the industry coupled with their marketing strength and reach will be a winning combination.”

Scheder-Miller, Campbell-White’s daughter, has been working as a licensed Realtor for 17 years.  In addition, she earned her Delaware broker’s license in 2012 and is passionate about utilizing technology and productivity tools to facilitate simple and streamlined transactions.  She has a well-rounded background in both real estate rentals and sales and is looking forward to putting those skills to work at OASIR.

“After talking to the OASIR team, I felt that our vision for the future was very compatible.  I am eager to combine the OASIR marketing tools with our passion for exceptional customer service and in-depth market insight.”

“The real estate market in Sussex County, and especially coastal Delaware, is back on the upswing,” said Healy.  “We see a marked improvement in sales across all price ranges and are delighted to expand our team to include both Pat and Carla.  They are a most welcome addition and we look forward to learning from their extensive real estate experiences as well.”
