Elaine Rosenberg, had perfect marriage

February 20, 2013

Elaine Rosenberg passed away peacefully in her sleep Monday, Feb. 18, 2013, after a short battle with cancer.

Elaine was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., Nov. 29, 1928. She moved to Vineland, N.J.  in her early twenties and to Wilmington eight years later for the rest of her life.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mae and Harry Lowenbraun; sister Ruth Batkin; and husband, soulmate and best friend Jesse who died way too young.

Elaine and Jesse had one of those few perfect marriages, and as a matter of fact, if you look up perfect marriage in the dictionary, you will probably see their picture.

Elaine is survived by Mike and his wife Sally of Claymont, Hank and his wife Win of Rehoboth Beach; and two granddaughters, Jessica and Kathy, whom she cherished with all of her heart.

Funeral services  will be held Thursday Feb. 21, in Wilmington.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Congregation Beth Shalom, 1801 Baynard Blvd. Wilmington, DE 19802, or The American Cancer Society.

Arrangements by Schoenberg Memorial Chapel.
