The Community Resource Center at 37510 Oyster House Road in Rehoboth Beach held an open house on Feb. 23. The center, sponsored by the Lewes-Rehoboth Association of Churches and Faith United Methodist Church, provides services for those in need in the Cape Henlopen School District.
The services provided are: intake assessment for individuals and families, referral to various community organizations, onsite programs and services, financial assistance based on need, and follow-up assistance. The center, staffed by 45 volunteers from the community, also offers a day center for homeless individuals, providing two hot meals a day.
