Local artists Jean Bowers and Sonia Hunt to show works at The Buttery March 24-April 20

Local artists Jean Bowers and Sonia Hunt will exhibit a new show of their works at The Buttery Restaurant on Second Street in Lewes. The opening is Sunday, March 24, with a reception in the Garden Room from 4 to 6 p.m.  All are welcome to attend. The show will run until Saturday, April 20.

Hunt is a member of Cape Artists in Lewes and Gallery One in Bethany Beach. Her paintings are also on display at the current exhibition at Applied Bank in Rehoboth. In addition, she is an instructor in watercolor painting at Osher Lifelong Learning Institute in Lewes. Her watercolors reflect her many travels and her expertise in landscapes.

Bowers is also a member of Cape Artists in Lewes. Her oils demonstrate the natural beauty found in Delaware’s ocean, woods and countryside. She is recognized for portraying a landscape’s mood and feeling. Bowers is a member of the Mispillion Art League and the Rehoboth Art League. Her painting "The Blue Ridge" was displayed at the Biggs Museum of American Art. Her paintings may also be seen at the current exhibit at Applied Bank in Rehoboth.
