The Rehoboth Beach-Dewey Beach Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon-cutting ceremony March 1 for the Beach Babies Child Care Beach Buddies School Age Building in Lewes.  Members of the chamber’s meet & greet committee were present to help Beach Babies Child Care celebrate the opening of the expansion.

Enrollment at Beach Buddies is open to children ages 5 through 12. Before- and after-school care is available during the school year as well as full-day programs during inservice and holiday breaks.

Beach Buddies serves Rehoboth, Shields, H.O.B and Milton elementary schools. Summer camp begins at the end of the school year with exciting field trips and hands-on activities every day.

Beach Buddies will host an open house from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, March 23. There will be food, games, prizes and visits from some local businesses. Attendees will be entered in a drawing for a free week of summer camp. For more information call 302-644-1585 or go to
