GMB associate Morgan Helfrich receives national, Delaware and Virginia accreditations

Local architectural and engineering firm George, Miles & Buhr, LLC recently announced that associate Morgan H. Helfrich, AIA, LEED AP, has received architectural licenses in the state of Delaware and the Commonwealth of Virginia, also obtaining certification from the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards.

As an NCARB certificate holder, Helfrich meets the highest professional standards established by the registration boards responsible for protecting the health, safety and welfare of the public.

Helfrich has more than 15 years of architectural experience, and has been with GMB for seven years. She is specialized in a vast array of building types such as residential, commercial, healthcare, industrial, municipal and educational. Helfrich also holds a professional architectural license in the state of Maryland. She is a LEED Accredited Professional, which provides a thorough understanding of green building practices and principles.

Helfrich is currently serving as project manager for a new fire station at NASA’s Wallops Island Flight Facility, which is being designed to achieve LEED NC 2009 Gold accreditation in a hurricane-prone area.
