Dinner Is Served opens in Sussex County
The Rehoboth Beach-Dewey Beach Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for Dinner Is Served March 7. Members of the chamber’s meet & greet committee were present to welcome Dinner Is Served to the resort community.
Betty Burliegh brings her 11 years of experience as a personal chef in Wilmington to her new Sussex County venture, Dinner Is Served. As executive chef for Dinner Is Served, Burleigh will cook in the client's own kitchen. She brings all the food and equipment necessary to prepare, cook and package up to 48 meals for a freezer. She looks forward to working in Sussex County and will service clientele from Dover to Fenwick.
Burliegh starts by interviewing the client and the family to discover what foods they prefer and any special needs. Next she will suggest dishes the client can choose from, building a menu that includes up to six different entrees. The entrees can be packaged in single-, two- or four-serving containers.
