The Kitchen to host artists' Meet and Greet March 16 for Shades of Green show
The Kitchen at Paynter’s Mill on Route 88 and Route 1 will host a Meet & Greet from 1 to 3 p.m., Saturday, March 16, for local artists whose works appear in the new Shades of Green exhibit at the restaurant.
Artists Anne Buck, Jean Bowers, Eddie Filemyr, Jason Janjanin, C.M. Walls, Valerie Helgesen and Libby Zando will show a myriad of works celebrating shades of green, the color of life.
The public is invited to welcome spring and St. Patrick’s Day at The Kitchen, which will offer a last taste - for a while - of its many offerings. Owners Lisa and Ray Ray Richardson will close for 10 days beginning Sunday, March 17. They will reopen Wednesday, March 27, with a new menu and new hours.
The Shades of Green show will be up through Tuesday, April 23. Fifteen percent of art proceeds will help support Children and Families First of Delaware, a 125-year-old nonprofit organization.
