The family of Mike McCarty would like to thank family, friends and the community for their kindnesses, thoughts and prayers during his recent illness and since his passing March 5. They have truly meant a lot to all of us.
Deepest thanks also go to the Rev. Jeffrey Ross and Adele, and to the Episcopal Church Women.
We would also like to encourage everyone to support the upcoming benefit for the Tunnell Cancer Center and Mike at 5 p.m., Saturday, March 23, at Lazy Susan's seafood restaurant, 18289 Coastal Highway, Lewes, where Mike was a beloved coworker and regular customer for many years. This year's fundraiser will honor his memory.
Also, we send special thanks to Lazy Susan's for all their caring and concern for Mike over the years.
