La Table Francaise - The French Table - is a group of area residents who get together once a month to enjoy a meal and to speak French. Members come to the Cape Region from around Delmarva to meet friends who are either native speakers or who just love to speak about lively and everyday topics in French.

Holidays, when possible, are celebrated a la francaise. The group meets at local restaurants on the second Saturday of each month. Time and location are announced in the Cape Gazette's Community Calendar.

On occasion, several members who are local artists are asked to bring a few paintings to the meeting to add a cultural element to the conversation as they explain their style of painting and its inspiration.

Anyone interested in joining the group and gaining more information may call 302-226-0620.
