Delta Waterfowl Delaware Bay Chapter kicks off with fundraiser

First raffle gives away Atlantic Liquors gift certificate

The newest chapter of Delta Waterfowl, the Delaware Bay Chapter, recently kicked off  a fundraising effort to welcome new membership and develop events with a raffle for an Atlantic Liquors gift certificate. The drawing was held at Atlantic Liquors Feb. 1. The winner was Dana Cultrera of Beachwood, N. J.

Shown in front of Atlantic Liquors are Delta Chapter member Bryan Plummer, Sissy Morrison of Atlantic Liquors, Delta Chapter Treasurer Richard Smith, Delta Youth member Mollie McClanahan, Delta Chapter Chairman Skip Skipper and Delta Chapter Secretary Gina Skipper.

Delta Waterfowl is the oldest conservation organization in America. Established in 1911, the organization is dedicated to the preservation of duck and goose hunting and waterfowl habitat.

The Delaware Bay Chapter was started in January 2013 by a group of hunting friends who wanted to help preserve the tradition of waterfowl hunting. The chapter is looking for members of all ages and can be found at www.dwdb.org; friend on Facebook at Delta Waterfowl Delaware Bay.
