Henlopen Soccer Club Sharks are Freestate Tournament champions

Registration for recreational soccer is open until April 1

Henlopen Soccer Club’s premier travel U12 Sharks started their spring season with a tournament championship at the Freestate Spring Breakout held in Maryland. The Sharks went 6-1-1 in their regular fall season, competing in the DELCO league in Pennsylvania.

This marks the second tournament in a row they have won, having traveled to the Virginia Atlantic Cup in December. The team also boasts two finalist finishes in 2012 in Maryland at the SAC United Premier Columbus Day Tournament and The Rush Cup on the Coast held in Virginia. The team will be competing in the U.S.Y.S. Region 1 Delaware State Cup later this season.
