Ladies of the Ancient Order of Hibernians play Easter Bunny for families

Members of the newly formed Sussex County District  No. 1 Ladies of the Ancient Order of Hibernians had a great time shopping for goodies to make Easter baskets for some of the families who are offered support through People’s Place in Milford.

Every child wants a visit from the Easter Bunny, and the members of the LAOH decided to make this delicious wish come true for some very happy children. The baskets were delivered March 20, in time for Easter.

The LAOH is an organization for Irish-American Catholic women 16 years of age or older, and the organization’s motto is Friendship, Unity and Christian Charity.  For more information go to
