Registration now open for 2013 Walk MS events

The Delaware Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society invites event participants and volunteers to join the movement during the annual Walk MS season.

Walks of approximately three miles will occur statewide throughout the spring.

Registration is open to individuals or to teams. Those who raise at least $100 get a free Walk MS T-shirt. The Twilight at Baywood Greens event takes place Friday, June 7.

Walk MS is a nationwide rallying point to help raise critical funds that support cutting-edge research, drive change through advocacy, facilitate professional education, and provide programs and services to help people with MS move their lives forward.

“We encourage everyone to show their support by signing up as a team. Ask your friends, family and coworkers to join you,” said Linda Risk, teams coordinator for the Delaware Chapter of the National MS Society. “This is a fun time for family and friends to come together to celebrate their accomplishments in the fight against MS. Plus, corporate teams have an opportunity to increase their visibility, demonstrate corporate responsibility and build camaraderie among employees.”
