Students from the Sussex Academy of Arts & Sciences in Georgetown have recently earned success in several writing competitions. Two students received awards for the 2013 Scholastic Art and Writing Awards.

The students were honored at an awards ceremony in Dover Feb. 9.

First-place winners also had their pieces published, and all winners were recognized in the September issue of Delaware Beach Life magazine.
