Tarr family appreciates donations for Howard

April 12, 2013

Howard's mother, Pauline Tarr, and Gerald Tarr and family members wish to thank all of the friends and businesses in the Lewes and Rehoboth area for their generous contributions – $2,300 total. All of the donations went to the American Cancer Society (for esophageal and stomach cancer research).

A golf tournament in Howard's name was held at Mount Vintage Plantations Golf and Country Club in North Augusta, South Carolina where Howard was a member. Donations from that event were raised through players in the tournament, sponsorships and signage by businesses and individuals placed on the golf course. All of these donations went to the Cancer Society also.
