St. Patrick's Day parade raises money in Milton

Parade, 5K benefit education, firefighters, and chamber of commerce.

Members of the Milton parade committee gathered at Irish Eyes Pub and Restaurant recently to present checks to civic organizations totaling $10,500 from the St. Patrick's Day parade and Lucky Leprechaun 5K.

Representatives from the Best Buddies program at Cape High, the Milton Volunteer Fire Dept. and the Milton Chamber of Commerce met at the restaurant to accept checks from the parade committee and sponsors.

Sponsors of the parade and race included Irish Eyes Pub and Restaurant, Clean Delaware, Dogfish Head Brewery and Schell Brothers.
