Resort Poker and Jake's to host Texas Hold-Em tournament May 4

Resort Poker League and Jake’s Seafood Restaurant in Rehoboth Beach announce the latest Eastern Shore free, no gambling, no limit Texas Hold-Em poker tournament.

“It’s essentially a fun afternoon out with a great chance to play for a substantial prize,” says Resort Poker League’s owner Carol Chidester. “These mega tournaments also give our regular players the chance to come together and compete from all of our regions, like Rehoboth, Salisbury and the Ocean City area.”

The event begins at 1 p.m., Saturday, May 4, at Jake’s Seafood, 19178 Coastal Highway, where a diverse crowd will be competing for a seat at Resort Poker League’s Grand Finale at Brew River in Salisbury, Md., this July, where players will compete for the ultimate prizes: a paid seat at a $1 million prize Pool Casino Tournament, a cruise for two or $1,500 in cash.

This tournament at Jake’s is Resort Poker League’s 11th in a series of 15 mega tournaments, which the free poker league runs each winter and spring, culminating with the grand finale in June. Each tournament during this cycle will honor Kirk Banks, a Resort Poker League regular who passed away several years ago.
