The Margaret H. Rollins School of Nursing at Beebe Medical Center Offers Nursing Assistant Course to begin May 13

The Margaret H. Rollins School of Nursing at Beebe Medical Center will offer a 10-week Nursing Assistant Class beginning Monday, May 13, 2013.

 

 The classroom portion of the course will be Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and will meet at the School of Nursing behind Beebe Medical Center. 

 

 The clinical experience will be Monday through Friday from 6:50 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in a local, long-term care facility.  The cost of the program is $1,900, which includes the cost of the course and clinical fees as well as your textbook and the Nursing Assistant Certification Exam fee. 

 

Additional fees paid by the student are $69 for fingerprinting and $25 for CPR certification.  To be admitted to the program, an applicant must have a high school diploma (or GED) and successfully complete the Criminal Background, Office of Inspector General, Adult and Child Abuse Registry checks, and a drug screen.
