“5 X 5: The Pleasures of Local Art,” an exhibit featuring five artists painting five works based on photos, opened April 26 at the Lydia Black Cannon Museum. The show is ongoing through Tuesday, May 21, and is hosted by the Milton Historical Society. Works focus on scenes throughout Milton and the Prime Hook National Wildlife Refuge.
The show's opening received a warm response, with more than 200 people in attendance. Hours of the exhibit are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday to Saturday or by appointment (684-1010).
