Daffodil Dash 5K at Irish Eyes in Lewes sees record turnout

May 4, 2013

The Daffodil Dash 5K held April 27 starting from Irish Eyes on Anglers Road in Lewes attracted a record turnout of runners to raise funds and awareness for the Sussex Consortium autism programs. The race had 211 finishers, and there was also a kids' dash before the race.

Great food was provided by Irish Eyes - can't beat a boiled dog in a sun-drenched stone parking lot - and there was live music on the dock by two guys who were really good but they weren't handing out business cards.
