Cape boys' lax defeats Sussex Tech 17-3

Cape middie Todd Keen scored five goals and Blake Mann tallied five assists as the Vikings moved to 10-3 on the season with a 17-3 defeat of the Ravens at Sussex Tech.

Luke Benson scored four goals and notched three helpers in the contest. Mann and Michael Hopkins ripped the twine with two goals each while Nick DiGuglielmo, Matt Kane, Connor Brown and Thomas Ott each scored one goal. Kane and Kyle Orton each had one assist. Tony Iammatteo had six stops in the cage while Chris Argo had one save.

Dylan Baker with 2 and Gene Powell scored for the Ravens. Jordan Spicer had four saves for the Ravens.

Cape outshot the Ravens 36-12.

The Vikings host Caesar Rodney Tuesday, May 7, for senior night.
