The Lewes Chamber of Commerce’s Historic Business District held its first fiesta at the Fun Friday event May 3. Market Street between Front and Second streets was closed to vehicles. Games, food and music were featured for the event.
Several Lewes restaurants served fiesta-themed dishes, and The Buttery restaurant, Jerry’s Seafood Restaurant and a Touch of Italy served fiesta-themed food on Market Street. Kids Cottage provided crafts and games for the children at the event.
Shown inside the gazebo at Mary Vessels Park on Market Street is Henry Sosman winding up for another whack at the piñata.
