The Nautical Sounds Chorus will welcome the Pride of Delmarva Chorus, a 35-man group made up of some of the best barbershop harmony singers on the peninsula, as well as The First State Harmonizers Chorus and five guest quartets to its annual Lewes show. The event will be held at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, May 18, in the Fellowship Hall of Lewes Presbyterian Church.

The Nautical Sounds will start the evening performing five patriotic songs in honor of U.S. armed forces followed by the quartets Delaware Chord Company, Old Mill 4 and Three Wise Men to wrap up the first segment. After intermission, during which several door prizes will be awarded, guest quartets Four on the Shore and Backswing will take the stage between songs by headlining chorus the Pride of Delmarva.

“We are very excited to offer our fans an entire chorus, as in the past we have had only guest quartets,” said George Macintire, one of the event’s coordinators. “The sound they create is like none other - you have to be there!"
