Safe Haven apologizes for cancellation

May 16, 2013

Unfortunately, Safe Haven No Kill Animal Sanctuary has had to postpone our PUPPY LOVE and MOMS! event scheduled for May 11.  As you all know we have had a lot of rain over the past week which has put a lot of pressure on our drainage fields. The upcoming storm is putting further pressure on these fields.   This has pushed our drainage field mechanical systems to the point where we believe we may develop some serious issues.

Therefore we are closing the shelter to the public until Wednesday, May 15.

During this time we are making sure our canine and feline populations are safe and secure, and we have professionals out working on the system.

We are always open at www.SafeHavenDE.org where you can view all of our gorgeous cats and dogs.

The good news is we are rescheduling our PUPPY LOVE and MOMS! event for Saturday, June 15, at Safe Haven Animal Sanctuary in Georgetown.  Please mark your calendars and plan on joining us for this day!  If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us at 302-856-6460.  Safe Haven No-Kill Sanctuary is located at 19022 Shingle Point Road, Georgetown.
