Millsboro Art League announces photography contest winners

Millsboro Art League recently announced its photography contest winners. Shown is first-place winner "Maine Landscape" by Anne Rhodes; second-place winner was "Junco" by Carl Forsberg, and third place "Believe" by Diane Bennett. The photo exhibit will be on display through May.

Other major upcoming events at Millsboro Art League include May 30 to June 1, Millsboro Plein Air Painting Contest, open to all; oil and acrylic painting classes in June with award-winning artist Bill Patterson of Milton; a joint members' show with Milton Art League and Nanticoke River Arts Council in July; a summer art camp July 8 to 12 for aspiring young artists; Salvation Army Art Show in August; a Pamella Bounds-Seemans Mixed Media Show in September; and ongoing Thursday classes in open paint from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and in stamping from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
