Thank you, Milford High School

June 1, 2013

The senior cruise is over. Graduation is next week. The school year ends June 6. What a year - the most rewarding in my 40 years in education. I would be remiss if I did not express my gratitude to the faculty, administration and students of Milford High School.

From the moment I walked through the doors of Milton High School seven years ago and started substitute teaching, I was welcomed and made to feel like one of their own. For that I am thankful. I have never felt like anything but a member of this wonderful faculty. The senior class dedicated their yearbook to me at the awards ceremony May 15, something I will cherish for a lifetime.

People always ask me why I do this job. My answer is "Walk through the halls of Milford High School and you will understand."

Can't wait for the 2013-14 school year to start!
