Anne Hanna is this year’s featured artist. Hanna lives in Dagsboro with her husband Gary and has been a member and volunteer at the Rehoboth Art League for more than 15 years. Because of a vision condition known as astigmatism, which tends to skew her drawing, Hanna paints all her pictures upside down.

This technique allows her to focus on shape, color, change, nuance and pattern that the eye actually sees, rather than preconceived notions in the mind. Hanna has had several one-person shows over the years and is also a member of the Bethany Beach Watercolor Society, Potomac Valley Watercolorists, National League of American Pen Women, National Portrait Society and a life member of the Baltimore Watercolor Society.

The 75th Members' Fine Art Exhibition is paired with the Heritage Artists: Birth of an Art Community show in the historic Homestead for the 75th anniversary celebration of the art league. PNC Wealth Management is the underwriter of both exhibitions. The reception on June 14 is for both shows.
